Kassii E. Hernandez

Kassii Elana Hernandez, 26, of Toledo, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo. She was born on September 2, 1991 in Defiance to Armando J. and Karleen E. (Gideon) Hernandez. Kassii attended North Central High School.

She liked to shop and always made sure everything from her clothing and jewelry to her hair and make- up looked just right. Kassii loved her family and friends and enjoyed taking her children bowling as often as she could. She loved to sing at El Shaddai Worship Center in Fostoria. Kassii had a very big heart and was always wanting to give back to those less fortunate. She will be dearly missed by many.

Kassii is survived by her parents, Armando (Cassandra) Hernandez of Fostoria and Karleen (Les) Zimmer of Montpelier; five children, Zepplin Morales of Montpelier, Anna’Lysia Lynn Hernandez-Roelle, Halle’Ahna Hernandez-Roelle, Angel Hernandez-Roelle and Andressa Hernandez all of Fostoria; nine siblings, Ashley Zimmer of Stryker, Karrii (Bradly Ray) Hernandez of Fostoria, Trevor Zimmer of West Unity, Kya (Nic Barcia) Zimmer of Pioneer, Samantha (Trent Gubbins) Zimmer of Bryan, Xavior Zimmer of Montpelier, Armando Hernandez, Jr., Carlito Hernandez and Zekleo Hernandez all of Fostoria; paternal grandmother, Irma Hernandez of Fostoria; maternal grandmother, Sherry Zimmer of Pioneer; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and good friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Manuel Hernandez; maternal grandparents, Elizabeth M. LaPoint, Stephen L. Gideon and Gary L. Zimmer, Sr.; aunt Viola Kemerley; and cousin, Heather Zimmer.

Visitation will take place on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 12-2 pm and 3-5 pm at the Thompson Funeral Home on Main Street in Montpelier. A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation at 5:00 pm at the funeral home with Kassii’s grandmother, Pastor Irma Hernandez to officiate. Memorial contributions may be made in Kassii’s memory to St Jude’s Children Research Hospital.
