Our sincere sympathy in your loss... Mom/Aunt Ida was very saddened when I told her of Martha's passing. Mom always asked about her when I would visit because she had a special spot in her heart for Martha... We reminisced about Martha as I'm sure each of you have been doing. Music seems to be the first memory everyone has when we think of Martha ~ such talent! "Swing and Sway with Marty!" Mom remembered driving Martha to the hospital when she was ready to deliver Gary. Jerry was working in Toledo with Uncle Beryl at the time...and Auntie Norma was just sure Mom wouldn't get to the hospital in time & that Gary would be born in the car! Martha was a unique woman who dearly loved her family. I'm praying your good memories will bring you comfort. She will be missed beyond measure.
Love, Betty

Dear Cousins:

I'm thinking of you all as you face the loss of your mother. She married my cousin Jerry when I was 8 years old, so she's always been there. Amazingly, she trusted me to babysit 3 of you and that crazy Great Dane, when you lived in the mobile home over by the hospital. Most recently, she loaned me the Santa costume for our Jones Christmas party at the Cooney school. I will never forget Martha.
May the Lord comfort you in the days ahead.
Vickie & Gary
