Priscilla L. (Stantz) Wolff

Priscilla L. Wolff, 80, of Montpelier passed away Saturday afternoon at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  She was born on October 4, 1937 near Montpelier to Earl L. and Nina A. (Zigler) Stantz.  Priscilla graduated from Montpelier High School in 1955.  She married James A. Wolff on October 15, 1955 in Metz, Indiana and he preceded her in death April 13, 2001.  

She was a member of the Madison Church of God in Montpelier.  Priscilla was a homemaker and retired as the manager of Miller’s Speed Queen Laundry in Montpelier.  She enjoyed spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, James (Marie) Wolff of Edon, Douglas L. Wolff of Bryan and Gloria (Dennis) Reader of Bryan; five grandchildren, Eric Wolff, Angie Coles, Amber Wolff, Ashely Wolff and Jessica Reader; and four great grandchildren, Kelan & Harper Wolff and Ian & Evan Coles.

Priscilla was preceded in death by her parents, husband James, brother Richard E. Stantz, and sister Viola N. Clark.

Visitation for Priscilla will be on Monday, May 7th from 5-9pm at the Thompson-Geesey Funeral Home on Empire Street in Montpelier.  Services will be Tuesday at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Walter Hicks to officiate.  Interment will follow at Edon Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society Williams County Relay for Life - Counting our blessings team.
