I send my sincere condolences to your family during this difficult time. This scripture brought me comfort when I lost a loved one and I hope it can do the same for your family. (Psalm 34:18) May God give you comfort and the strength to endure through this difficult time.

We used to spend many good times together 60 plus years ago, but life has a way of changing things, and causing us to go separate ways. I always enjoyed going to Fikels practically every weekend. It’s probably been 30-40 years since I seen Junior, probably at a reunion. I always liked visiting the Fikels especially Junior, Rosie and Martha, who were near my age. My deepest sympathy for your loss, and pray that God will comfort you at this difficult time.

So sorry to hear the passing of my former High School Classmate. My condolences to the family.Funny story to tell about JR.; I left with my parents car from Jack Deans Diner in Columbia and JR was leaving at same time, drag raced our vehicles, of course , he won and I ran into Salt Barrel at corner of Route 49. My Dad came out, did not tell him about the drag race of course. Always remember the good times. God Bless to all.

Dear Sandy, I will always remember JR setting at your house in CW on the Kesas Cove house porch. He and I admired your view, when I was there for a visit once. He said it was paradise, and I agreed. My heart breaks for the loss of your partner in crime and in fun! I hope memories comfort you for years to come and starting a new chapter in your life, is literal now, with JR gone. But we both know he would want you to enjoy life to its fullest, so make yourself happy, and he will be looking down and be happy for you and your girls(the dogs)! Sending love and hugs!
