Anita L. Oxender, 64, of Pioneer went to be with the Lord Saturday evening at her home.  She was born on January 18, 1954 in Angola, Indiana to Robert A. and LaVeda Lois (Kindig) Musser.  In September 2006 she married Terry A. Oxender at the Pioneer Church of the Nazarene.

Anita at one time worked for Aro Corp in Bryan for approximately 16 years and also at Power and Sons in Montpelier for nine years retiring in 2015.  One of Anita’s favorite hobbies was quilting.    

She is survived by her husband Terry; sons Jeremy (Tammi) R. Kuhn of Camden, Michigan and Phillip A. Kuhn of Angola, Indiana; step children Lori Oxender, Lisa (Mark) Ulrich and David (Michelle) Oxender all of Pioneer; 12 grandchildren; five great grandchildren and siblings Shirley (Clarence) Harris of Bryan, Vicki (James) Burns of Maine and Robert (Lyn) Musser of Stryker.  

Anita was preceded in death by her parents.

A private celebration of life service will be held with Anita being interred in Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer.  Memorial contributions may be given to Cancer Assistance of Williams County.
