We love both Jim and Linda and Spring Arbor University.
Dr. Coe was a breath of fresh air and positivity wherever he was.

I am an old Elmhurst High School classmate of Jim's and want to offer my condolences on your loss and heaven's gain. Jim was always a kind, caring person and I am sure you all feel his loss greatly. I am so glad he was able to make our EHS 50th reunion and we all got to share memories with him. I posted his obit on our class Facebook page: Elmhurst High School Class of 1966. You might want to read the tributes there for him also.

On behalf of Jim's Regent University School of Leadership Studies doctoral cohort of 2002, I express our sincerest condolences to Linda and family at this time of grief. Jim was a model both of academic excellence and of spiritual warmth. We were blessed by his godly and dignified character, as well as his intellectual rigor. He was a friend and colleague in the pursuit of understanding, and of practicing, Christ-honoring leadership. We are grateful that God gave us the privilege of walking with Jim for a season, and we look to the coming day, in the glory of the Lord Jesus, when we shall meet again and walk together in eternity.

I just learned of Jim's passing. He was a fantastic teacher, a talented leader, and a great encouragement to me as a student. He really lived out the Christian live with abundance and fun! The world needs more people like Jim Coe. My condolences to the family and others who will miss him. Kurt Bishop (1991 Taylor grad)
