Audree Ann (Fiser) Schmucker, 92, of Pioneer, Ohio, passed away on Jan. 25, 2026, at The Lakes of Monclova in Maumee, Ohio.

Audree was born in Pioneer, Ohio, on Dec. 2, 1933, to Emerson and Marjorie (Mercer) Fiser. She attended Pioneer (now North Central) High School and married Ronald Sam Schmucker at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Fort Wayne, Ind., on Dec. 10, 1955. Audree and Ronald settled in Pioneer, where they raised two sons, Mark and Tim Schmucker.

Audree was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Pioneer for 50 years, serving several of those as auxiliary president. She chaired the auxiliary's annual Memorial Day Poppy Program, including making and selling commemorative poppy plates. Audree and Ronald were also deeply involved in preparing the American Legion's fish fry dinners.

Audree was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; her parents; sister and brother-in-law Darlene and DuWayne Kiser; sister and brother-in-law Mary Ellen and DeWayne "Dofey" Walkup; and brother and sister-in-law Jim and Elaine Fiser.

Audree is survived by sons Mark (Gwen) Schmucker of Pioneer; Tim (Haley) Schmucker of Maumee; brother-in-law Larry (Iona) Schmucker of Pioneer; brother-in-law Richard (Lois) Schmucker of Pioneer; grandchildren Jason, Jessica, Tanner, McKenzie, and Kendall; and great-grandson River.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Jan. 30, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer. Audree will be laid to rest in Floral Grove Cemetery in a private ceremony.

The family would like to thank both The Lakes of Monclova and Heartland Hospice for the care they provided to Audree.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donation be directed to the American Legion Post 307 Auxiliary in Pioneer.
