Betty Kathryn Lillard, 94, of Pioneer, and formerly of Logan County, Ohio, passed away Friday morning at her home.  She was born on October 21, 1919 in Lewistown, Ohio to E. S. "Jack" and Helen C. (Cooper) Hemminger.  She graduated from Lewistown High School in 1939.  While in high school she lettered all four years in basketball and was very active in 4-H.   Betty married Carl W. Lillard, and he preceded her in death. Betty attended the Bridgewater Community Church.  She worked in the shipping and receiving department at Hughes Aircraft in Culver City and Fullerton, California for 25 years.  After returning to Ohio she worked at Kustom Fit and Universal Industrial Products both in Pioneer. She is survived by three sons, D. Wade (Sandra) Lillard, Michael (Loni) Lillard and John E. Carl Lillard all of Pioneer; former daughter in law Pam J. Bashor, of Southern California; thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband Carl; four sisters, Helen, Darthea, Virginia and Aleen; and three brothers Emery, Stewart and Lawrence. Visitation for Betty will be on Sunday February 9th from 12-4pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer.  Services will be on Monday at 10:30am at the funeral home with Pastor Mark D. Pitman to officiate.  Interment will follow at Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer.  Donations may be made to the Bridgewater Community Church.
