Castiel Angelo Scranton, of Nettle Lake, went home to be with The Lord on Sunday, March 12, 2023. Left to cherish his memory are his loving parents, Dillan Thomas and Breana Nicole (Steffes) Scranton of Nettle Lake; two big brothers, Gage Dean Scranton and Zander William Scranton; his big sister, Harlee Quinn Scranton; paternal grandparents, Amy (Will) Fleitz of Montpelier, Chris Fahringer of Delta; maternal grandparents, Terry and Lesley Steffes of Montpelier; paternal great grandparents, Dean and Carol Fahringer of Delta and Karen Scranton of Hicksville; maternal great grandmother, Lurren Miller of Montpelier; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Private services will be held for Castiel at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Thompson-Geesey Funeral Home in Montpelier.
