Christopher A. Weed, 23 of Pioneer died suddenly from a traffic accident Wednesday evening.  Chris was born on June 13rd 1988 in Ft. Worth, TX to his mother Val R. (Culver) Weed. Chris graduated from North Central High School in Pioneer in 2007.  For the past year he was employed as a press operator at 20/20 in Holiday City, Ohio.  Prior to this Chris worked for Rifel's in Pioneer, Moore Industries and Deco Plas Industries in Montpelier. Chris is survived by his mother Val R. Weed of Pioneer, a significant other Emily A. Nowak of Montpelier, three sons Colton Morgon, Izaiah Weed and Logan Weed all of Montpelier, one brother Cory R. Weed of Pioneer, and one sister Hayley A. Culver of Pioneer. Services for Christopher will be on Saturday, March 24th at 5pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer with Pastor Byron Adams to officiate.  Visitation will be from 1pm until the time of the service.  Donations may be made to the Hospice of the donor's choice.
