Cody Lee Douglass, 27 of Pioneer died Wednesday June 19th after a car accident on Highway 20. He was born February 19, 1986 in Toledo, Ohio to Robert A. Douglass and Onnaliesa M. (Clark) Douglass. He worked as a fabricator. Cody was a simple man who loved his family and spending time with them. He also loved working on his car. Cody is survived by his father Robert Douglass and his mother Onnaliesa Douglass both of Pioneer, four brothers, Troy (Amy) Douglass of Wauseon, Ohio, Chad (Kristin) Douglass of Pioneer, Jamie Douglass of Pioneer and Casy (Alisha) Douglass of Alvordton, Ohio. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, other family members and friends. Visitation will be on Monday July 15th from 4-8pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer. Services will be on Tuesday at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Pittman to officiate.  Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Hillsdale County, Michigan. Preferred donations are to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
