Obituary

Coleen M. (Rutledge) Beaverson, 72, of Archbold passed away Wednesday afternoon at the University of Michigan Health Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  She was born on February 16, 1943 in Morenci, Michigan to James Earl and Donelda (Stoner) Rutledge. Coleen attended Pioneer High School.  She was a homemaker, spending her early years raising her children.  Coleen was an animal lover, she was especially fond of her poodles. She is survived by her mother Donelda Rutledge of Pioneer; four children, Diane (Garry) Rising of Bryan, Dudley (Debra) Beaverson of Archbold, Tammy (Bill) Stockman of Defiance and Timothy Beaverson of Defiance; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, four step grandchildren, four step great grandchildren; companion Fred L. Gambler, Jr. of Archbold; and two brothers, Dennis (Lois) Rutledge of Bryan and Rodney (Nice) Rutledge of Pioneer. Coleen was preceded in death by her father. Visitation for Coleen will be on Monday, February 15th from 2-7pm at the Thompson Funeral Home on Main Street in Montpelier.  Services will be on Tuesday at 1pm at the funeral home with Pastor David Nicholls to officiate.  Interment will follow at Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Ridgeville Fire and Rescue or the American Heart Association.
