David E. Bish, 69, of Pioneer passed away at his home on Monday, November 25, 2024.  He was born on February 18, 1955 in Tacoma, Washington to Lewis and Norma (Williams) Bish.  David graduated from Sandy Valley High School in Magnolia, Ohio.  On August 21, 1976 he married Catherine M. Weglarz in Canton, Ohio, and she preceded him in death.  David was an electrician at Artesian of Pioneer.  He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his children, Christopher (Stacy) Bish, Melinda (Chuck) Fugate, Jonathon (Gabby) Bish and Valerie (Tyler) Sargent; grandson Ethan Bish; and siblings Curt Bish, Larry Bish, Tami Kinser and Sharlene Hudy.  David was preceded in death by his parents and wife Catherine.

Visitation for David will be on Friday, November 27th from 4-8pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier.  Services will be on Saturday at 10:30am at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer.  Memorial contributions may be given to CHP Hospice.
