Dawn Marie (Beard) King, 37 of Defiance, Ohio died Friday evening at the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born on January 29, 1975 in Bryan, Ohio to Harley J. and Bonnie E. (Stahler) Beard, Jr. Currently Dawn was enrolled at Northwest State Community College in Archbold in the Business degree program. For several years Dawn worked at Parkview Nursing Home in Edgerton, Ohio. Dawn is survived by her companion John Dubreuil "J.D. of Defiance, three sons Trent King of Edgerton, Dallas King of Edgerton, Brysten King of Ney, Ohio, two daughters Samantha King of Edgerton, Alexis King of Ney, two grandchildren Addyson and Ayden, one brother Rick (LouAnn) Beard of Camden, MI, one ½ sister Natalie Gahagan of Pleasant Lake, IN, two nieces Courtney (Tony) Denstedt of Montpelier, Tiffany (Kyle) Pettit of Pioneer, as well as many special friends. Services for Dawn will be on Saturday, February 18th at 3pm at the Wilson-Geesey Funeral Home in Montpelier. A time to receive friends will be on Saturday from 1pm until the time of the service. Donations may be made to the Family for funeral expenses or the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.
