Dawson L. Sapp, 19, of Montpelier passed away Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Montpelier. He was born on April 3, 2002 in Defiance, Ohio to Kevin M. Sapp and Brandy S. (Tillman) Sapp.

Dawson graduated from Montpelier High School in 2021. He was an avid outdoorsman throughout his life. Dawson had a deep passion for fishing and enjoyed making fishing lures at DS Lures and sharpening knives. He was a member of House of Prayer in Montpelier. Dawson loved spending time with his family and will be dearly missed.

Dawson is survived by his father, Kevin M. Sapp and mother Brandy S. (Tillman) Sapp both of Montpelier; siblings Chanse Sapp and Reizyn Sapp both of Montpelier and Hawken Sapp of Fremont, Indiana; his girlfriend, Cassie Blosser of Montpelier and their unborn child; paternal grandparents Ron (Linda) Sapp and Janet Meadon and maternal grandmother Terry Tillman all of Montpelier. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Tim Tillman.

Visitation for Dawson will be held on Wednesday, July 28 2021 from 11-2 pm at the House of Prayer in Montpelier. A Celebration of Life service will take place immediately following at 2:00 pm at the church with Pastors Don and Ben Harris to officiate.
