Debra Rose Brown, 68, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 11, 2023 at Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center.  She was born on December 31, 1954 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Barbara Burnett.  Debra attended Waldron High School, in Waldron, Michigan.  On August 29, 2003 she married Dan L. Brown in Alvordton.  Debra enjoyed crafts, playing computer games, collecting antiques and gambling.

She is survived by her husband Dan; children Heather (Curt) Gibson of Jackson, Michigan and James (Lisha) Brooks of Napoleon, Michigan; stepchildren Erica (Bill) Ruba of Illinois, Jason (Crystal) Brown of Louisiana and Damon Brown of Arkansas; seven grandchildren; brother Kevin (Gloria) Burnett of Waldron; sister Monica (Brent) Mercer of Addison, Michigan; and mother-in-law Dorthy (Dot) Brown.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Paula Brandeberry and Melody Burnett, brother James Burnett, Jr., stepmother Margaret Shadel and granddaughter Kaley Brooks.

A Celebration of Life for Debra will take place in the spring.
