Obituary

Delma D. Runyan, 77 of Pioneer died early Saturday morning at Fountain Park Inn & Villas in Bryan.  She was born on November 15th 1934 in Archbold, Ohio to Leo H. and Geraldine A. (Roth) Runyan. Delma graduated from Montpelier High School in 1952. Delma retired when she turned 75 from D.P. Equipment in Camden, Michigan after approximately 18 years of employment.  Prior to this she worked at Landmark in Montpelier for approximately 30 years.   At both locations she worked as a bookkeeper. She was a member of Fayette Christian Church in Fayette, Ohio.  Delma was an avid bowler in Montpelier and Bryan. Delma was survived by two brothers Eldon and Phillis Runyan of Edon, Dale and Carol Runyan of Merry Lake, MI, two sisters Nardine and Don Borton of Ellonte, FL, Aldythe J. Perry of Bryan and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services for Delma will be on Thursday, August 2nd at 2pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier with Reverend Gene Sugg to officiate.  Visitation hours will be from 12 noon until the time of service on Thursday.  Interment will follow at Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer.  Donations may be made to the Fayette Christian Church or Montpelier Church of Christ.
