Doris A. Oyer, 87 of Pioneer died Friday morning at the Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Montpelier.  She was born on January 3rd 1925 in Montpelier to Cleo N. and Mary (Feighner) Priest. Doris graduated from Montpelier High School in 1943 and became a homemaker when she married Robert W. Oyer on January 29th 1950 in Montpelier. Doris had been a member of the Pioneer Church of the Nazarene for the past 46 years. Doris is survived by two daughters Debbie and husband John Krauss of Delta, Sharon R. Russell of Pioneer, two grandsons Brandon and wife Janel Krauss, and Robert "Bobby" Krauss. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert W. Oyer on October 9th 2004, and one sister Rosie Butzin. Visitation hours for Doris will be on Wednesday, August 1st from 4-8 pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer.  Services will be on Thursday at 11 am at the Pioneer Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Timm Oyer to officiate.  Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.  Donations may be made to the church.
