Doris Irene Lyon, 90 of Montpelier died late Thursday night at the Evergreen Manor Nursing Home in Montpelier.   She was born on July 7th 1922 in Williams County, Ohio to Donald L. and Ruby M. (Zeiters) Reese.  Doris was a Williams County resident for most of her life, graduating from Montpelier High School. For a number of years Doris was the Co-owner and operator of Ideal Electric in Montpelier. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Montpelier. Doris is survived by a son Phillip A. Lyon of Montpelier, a daughter Sandra K. Lyon of Montpelier, a grandson Nathaniel A. Lyon and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles N. Lyon who died June 26th 1986, five brothers Max, Donald, Robert, Lewis, and William Reese. Visitation hours for Doris will be on Sunday, January 6th from 2-4 pm at the Wilson-Geesey Funeral Home in Montpelier.  Services will be on Monday at 1pm at the funeral home with Reverend Bruce Tumblin to officiate.  Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Paul's UM Church.
