Dwight E. Shepherd, 50 of Hicksville, Ohio died Saturday afternoon at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Dwight was born on January 30th 1962 to Stanley E. and Naomi J. (Buchanan) Shepherd in Maysville, Kentucky. On July 4th 2010 Dwight married Laurie Ann Rosenbrook in Ney, Ohio. At one time Dwight owned and operated an auto mechanic Shop in Maysville, Kentucky. Dwight was associated with the First Church of Christ in Hicksville, Ohio. He is survived by his wife Laurie of Hicksville, one daughter Chasity Shepherd of Brooksville, KY, one step daughter Amanda L. Thiel of Bryan, mother-in-law Nancy A. Rosenbrook of Bryan, and three good friends Bonnie, Amy and Jimmie Ried. A service will be held on Tuesday, May 1st at 1:30 in the Wilson-Geesey Funeral Home in Montpelier with Pastor Steve Evans to officiate. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11 am until the time of the service at the funeral home. The interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier. Donations may be made to the family to defray funeral expenses.
