Eva Grace Hand, 89 of Montpelier died Saturday morning at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home  in Montpelier.  She was born on May 2nd 1923 in Bridgewater Township, Ohio to Edmond and Carrie Mae (Hawley) Huston. Eva was a Williams County resident all of her life, having retired from Mohawk Tools in Montpelier in 1991 after approximately 25 years of employment. Eva is survived by two sons John and wife Tammy Schuman of Montpelier, Ted and wife Amy Huston of West Unity, four grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and one sister Hazel Huston of Montpelier. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Donn J. Schuman, five sisters Mary Huston, Dorothy Joice, Thelma Fisher, Blanche Stoner, Betty Westfall, four brothers James, Mahlon, Woodrow, and Lauren Ted Huston. Services for Eva will be on Tuesday, July 10th at 1pm with Reverend Michael Raypholtz to officiate at the Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier.  Visitation hours will be on Tuesday from 10am until the time of the service.  Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.  Donations may be made to the Montpelier Parks and Recreation or the Montpelier Senior Center.
