Gary Kimmel, 82, of Montpelier, passed away on October 7, 2020 at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold. He was born on April 11, 1938 in Cleveland. Gary graduated from Montpelier High School and honorably served his country in the United States Army. Gary retired after working in sales for an international telecommunication company.

He is survived by his children, Doug Edward Goeble, Gary Kimmel, Jr., Jennifer Laura Kimmel and Craig Edward Kimmel; two grandchildren, Ava Kimmel and Lana Kimmel; one sister, Meg A. Schmitt; one brother, Greg E. (Carolyn) Kimmel; other family and friends. Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene S. and Jayne A. (Phillips) Kimmel; and brother-in-law, Richard Schmitt.

Per his wishes, no services will be held for Gary. He will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.
