Gary Lee Kreischer, 68, formerly of Montpelier passed away September 24th at Laurel Nursing Home in Butler, Indiana as the result of complications from Alzheimer's Disease.  He was born on August 2, 1950 in Bryan to John and Frances (Smith) Kreischer.  Gary was a 1968 graduate of Montpelier High School.  At one time he was employed at Chase Brass in Holiday City. He is survived by two sons, Keith (Cindy) Kreischer and Jason (Amber) Kreischer, one grandchild and six step grandchildren; two brothers Carroll (Patricia) Kreischer and John Kreischer, Jr.; two sisters Darlene Haynes and Patti (Mickey) Oyer; and life partner Tammy Haverstock. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and one grandchild. A private graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier, where Gary will be laid to rest next to his parents.  Donations in memory of Gary should be directed towards the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
