Geneva Irene White, 86, of Montpelier passed away Monday, April 26, 2022 at Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice.  She was born on September 17, 1935 in Alvordton, Ohio to Gaylord T. and Leona F. (Maneval) Landon.  Irene graduated from Alvordton High School in 1953.

Irene was the owner / operator of Sheer Impressions in Pioneer for several years.  She retired in 1978 as the Manager of the Montpelier Auto Auction.  Irene was a member of the Montpelier Moose and the Pioneer Legion.  She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  Irene enjoyed painting, crafts, gambling and traveling.

She is survived by her children Ronald Stahl of Alvordton, Robert (Mary) Stahl of Palisade, Colorado, John (Vicki) Stahl of Holiday, Florida, Melanie (John) Cashe of Cocoa, Florida, Barbara S. Ogden of Bryan and Peggy (Andy) Miller of Liberty Center, Ohio; 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; sister Amanda Jane Carpenter of Bryan; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Murhl Stahl, second husband Ronald White and siblings Betsy Joann Landon, Bernetta Siders, Linda Castor, Duane Landon and Gale Landon.

Visitation for Irene will be on Friday, April 29th from 3-7pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier.  Services will be on Saturday, April 30th at 1pm at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Floral Grove Cemetery in West Unity.  Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
