James W. Hutchinson, Jr., 84 of Montpelier and formerly of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Tavares, Florida, passed away Sunday evening at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home in Montpelier.  He was born on November 25, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan to James William and Alice (Gleason) Hutchinson, Sr.  In 1950 James graduated from Waldron High School, in Waldron, Michigan.  After graduation he settled and worked in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. James was loved by everyone that knew him.  He never passed up an opportunity to go fishing. He is survived by one sister, Ann Hersha of Pioneer; one step-sister, Barbara Ferris of Manitou Beach, Michigan; and nineteen nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister, Jane Hanson. A time to receive friends will be on Saturday, February 27th from 1-2pm at Lakeview United Brethren Church in rural Camden, Michigan.  A memorial service will follow at 2pm at the church, led by the family.  Memorial contributions may be made to Lakeview UB Church expansion fund.
