Jerry L. Adams, Sr., 70 of Bryan, formerly of Zanesville, Ohio died Monday afternoon at the Community Hospitals and Wellness Center in Bryan.  He was born on December 2nd 1941 in Zanesville to Everett D. and Delores K. (Pettrey) Adams. Jerry graduated from Philo, Ohio High School in 1959.  Jerry was a long haul truck driver and drove for J.B. Hunt for over 20 years.   He was a member of the Restoration Fellowship Church in Bryan. Jerry is survived by a daughter Jodi and husband Craig Creech of Galena, Ohio, a son Jon S. Adams of Wylie, TX, seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, three brothers James and wife Jodi Adams of Bryan, Bill and wife Judy Adams of Zanesville, Donald and wife Kathy Adams of Zanesville, three sisters Sue and husband Ronnie Sullivan of Somerset, Ohio, Kay and husband Harold Rupe of Duncan Falls, Ohio and Libby and husband Roger Keck of Lewisville, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Juanita (Mullen) Adams in July of 2007, a son Jerry Adams, Jr. and a sister Jeanne Williamson. Services for Jerry will be on Friday, July 13th at 7:30 pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier.  The family will receive friends from 4 pm until the time of the service.  The interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Zanesville on Monday.  Donations may be made to the Restoration Fellowship Church.
