Joe Allen Tom Price, 85, of rural Montpelier, Ohio died Sunday evening, November 27, 2011 at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home, Montpelier following an illness.
He was born March 3, 1926 at Buchanan, Kentucky and had been a Montpelier area resident since 1950. On November 3, 1973 Joe was married to Beatrice A. (Schelling) Stuckey, and she survives.
An avid hunter and fisherman, he had retired in 1977 after 25 years as a fork-lift operator at the former Pet Milk Company, Bryan.
Also surviving are three sons, Ted Price, James (Cheryl) Price, and Dan Stuckey, all of Montpelier. Three daughters, Brenda Borton, Alvordton, Ohio, Deann (Eric) Dohner, Butler, Indiana, and Denise (Larry) Miller, Montpelier; Sixteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren; and a sister, Johnnie Lee, Louisa, Kentucky.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a grandson, Joshua Stuckey, two sisters and a brother.
Visitation for Joe Allen Tom Price will be from 2- 8 p.m. Tuesday November 29, 2011 in Wilson – Geesey Funeral Home, Montpelier. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Reverend Bruce Tumblin and Pastor Don Harris officiating. Private family burial will be in Floral Grove Cemetery, Pioneer.
