Kathy J. Moskowitz, 66, of Montpelier, passed away on Feb. 11, 2022, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers in Montpelier. She was born on Feb. 28, 1955, in Montpelier to William Wayne and Clarabell Marie (Topps) Russell. Kathy graduated from Hilltop High School.

Kathy worked at Kamco Industries in West Unity for many years. She had the most giving heart and will be dearly missed.

Kathy is survived by her best friend of 16 years, Jerry Ferguson; two sons, William Mohr of Montpelier and Todd Moskowitz of Bryan; two grandchildren, Madison and Alissa Elston; three siblings, David Russell of North Carolina, Diane (Ron) Case of Hudson and Patricia "Pat" Beebe of Montpelier. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, I. David Moskowitz.

Visitation will take place from 1-4 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022, at the Thompson Funeral Home on Main Street in Montpelier. She will be laid to rest in a private burial at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier. Memorial contributions may be made in Kathy's memory to the Parkinson's Foundation.
