Keith Miller passed away on August 17, 2012. He was 94, born May 5, 1918, to Charles and Roena (Johnson) Miller of Montpelier
Keith graduated from Montpelier High School in 1937, where he was active in varsity sports. He served in the United States Army as Staff Sergeant and was stationed in England during WWII.
Keith started Miller Body Shop in Montpelier in the 1950's and later ran the business with his brother Denver for many years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and served as chairman of the leadership committee for construction of the new church in Montpelier.
Keith is survived by his wife Jeanette (Schavey), his son Alan (Judy) Miller, a daughter Ann (Jim) Roseen, a stepson Robert (Fran) Bryce, his grandchildren Bruce (Xochitl) Herbkersman, Shawn (Lisa) Kersman, Michael Miller, Judson (Marcy) Miller, Andrew (Svea) Miller, Tyler Miller, Bobbi Ann (Brad) Miller, Christa (Mark) Pawlaczyk, and Terri (John) Ernsthausen, thirteen great-grandchildren, a brother Denver (Margaret) Miller, and a sister-in-law, Lauretta Ebert.
Keith is preceded in death by his first wife Lucille (Brown), a son Jeffrey, a step-daughter Mary Kay Bryce, five brothers Raymond, Charles, Everett, Kenneth, Lisle Miller and a sister Gladys Porter.
Keith will be loved and remembered for his hard work, kindness, friendship and good sense of humor.
Funeral services for Keith will be on Tuesday, August 21st at 2 pm at First United Methodist Church in Montpelier with Reverend Robert Damschroder to officiate. Visitation hours will be from 12 noon until the time of service. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier. Family and friends are invited back to the church, following the interment, for a time of fellowship and a light luncheon.
