Kenneth "Ken" Dauber 62, of Bryan passed away early Thursday morning at his home surrounded by his family. Kenneth was born April 22, 1950 in Hillsdale, Michigan to Duane D. Dauber and Frances Keatting. On December 6, 1974 he married Brenda K. (Bashor) in Montpelier and she survives. Ken served in the U.S. Army and was a Viet Nam war veteran. He worked at Global Suspensions formerly Hayes Albion and Trim Trends in Bryan for approximately 25 years. He was a member of the Eagles in Bryan and the Montpelier Moose. Kenneth is survived by his wife Brenda, two daughters: Jennifer Dauber of Bryan, Annissa and husband Adam Owens of Woodbridge, Virginia; one son: Corey and wife Jill Dauber of Toledo, two grandchildren: Mikayla Owens and Avery Dauber who was born five hours after her grandfather's death. He is also survived by his mother: Frances Bigger of Montpelier and two sisters: Lynne and husband Rick Patton of Phoenix , Arizona and Kelley and husband Frank Matranga of Pioneer. Visitation for Kenneth will be Sunday July 29th at the Wilson-Geesey Funeral Home in Montpelier from 2:00 until 6:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at the Riverside Cemetery with military graveside rites performed by the Montpelier Veterans. Preferred memorials are to the Williams County Humane Society.
