Larry L. Bible, 74 a life-long resident of Montpelier died early Monday morning at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home in Montpelier.  Larry was born on May 12th 1937 in Bridgewater Twp, Ohio to Dennis C. & Nellie A. (Waterston) Bible.  He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1955.   Larry was a retired roofer for Gurwell-Toledo as well as a scrap material handler. Larry is survived by four sons: Rick, Ronnie, Randy, Ray Bible all of Montpelier, four daughters Renee Bible and Rachelle (Sam) Croft both of Montpelier, Tammy Sleesman of Bryan and Nichole (Phillip) Towne of Bryan, one step son Chad Sleesman of Bryan, 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, one brother Van Bible of Swanton and two sisters Betty Lou Deranek of Concord, MI and Lola Long of Pioneer. He was preceded in death by parents, life-long companion of 35 years S. LuAnn Sleesman on 8/2011, five brothers and one sister. Services for Larry will be on Thursday, October 6th at 7:30 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier with Pastor Don Harris to officiate.  Visitation hours will be from 2-7pm on Thursday.  Donations can be made to the funeral home to defray costs.
