Larry E. McKelvey, 73, of Montpelier, passed away on July 28, 2020 at his home. He was born on May 26, 1947 in Wauseon to Walter R. and Gladys I. (Shaull) McKelvey. Larry graduated from Montpelier High School. He honorably served his country in the United States Army completing one tour during The Vietnam War.

Larry retired from Powers and Sons in Montpelier and also worked at Challenge-Cook in Bryan.

He is survived by his sister, Carol Keyser of Roxboro, NC; two nieces, Nia Donovan of Roxboro, NC and Shannon Bodell of Dublin, OH. Larry was preceded in death by his parents.

A private interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.
