Lorie "Lori" L. Cook, 54 of Montpelier died at her home this past weekend.  She was born on April 21st 1958 in Montpelier to Vernon Hal and Mary L. (Leatherman) Cook. Lori graduated from Montpelier High School in 1976 and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Montpelier. Lori is survived by her mother Mary Cook of Montpelier, two brothers Mark A. Cook of Cridersville, Ohio, Kenton H. Cook of Toledo, two sisters Diana (Lynn) Bowman of Montpelier, and Patricia (Kenneth) Mingus of Grapevine, TX.  She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and a brother Larry Cook. Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, July 26th from 10 am until 12 noon at the Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier.  A private service will be held at a later time with Reverend David E. Tilly to officiate.  The interment will be at Williams Center Cemetery.  Donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church or Cancer Assistance of Williams County.
