Obituary

Louise Lett, 98 of West Unity died Thursday evening at Hillside Country Living in Bryan.  She was born on September 7th 1913 in Norwood, Ohio to Harry and Mary M. (Burger) McClanahan. Louise was a member of the Jehovah's Witness in Montpelier since 1988. Louise retired from Hillside County Living nursing home in Bryan in 1975 after seven years as a nurse's aide.  Prior to this she worked in several nursing homes around Williams County for approximately 30 years. She is survived by four sons William (Madonna) Potter of Huston, Tx, James (Jean) Potter of Jonesville, MI, Leroy (Carol) Potter of Owasso, MI, Thomas (Shirley) Potter of Texas, daughter Mary L. Tubbs of Columbus, Ohio, 26 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arga B. Lett in April of 1981, a sister Edna Pittsford in March of 1988, and two grandchildren. Services for Louise will be on Wednesday, July 18th at 1 pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer with Paul Heger elder to officiate.  Visitation hours will be on Wednesday from 11 am until the time of the service in the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer.  Donations may be made to the Williams County Cancer Assistance or the donor's choice.
