Lucille Tressler, 88 of Montpelier died early Friday morning at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home in Montpelier.  She was born on June 12th 1923 in Montpelier to Albert E. & Josephine (Clark) Cook.    Lucille was a caring homemaker and lifelong resident of Montpelier. Surviving are three sons: Ross & Diane Tressler, Jr. of Montpelier, Stan Tressler of Hayward, CA and Jeff Tressler of Montpelier, one daughter Christine D. Smith of Edon, ten grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents an   d husband Jacob Ross, Sr. "Jr." who died on December 10th 1997. Visitation for Lucille will be on Monday August 29th from 5-8pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier.  Services will be on Tuesday at 11 am at the funeral home with Pastor Don Harris to officiate.  Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.  Donations can be made to the Activity Fund at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home.
