Marjorie A. Beeman, 84, of Jonesville, Michigan and formerly of Camden, Michigan passed away Sunday, February 22nd in Hillsdale, Michigan. She was born on May 25, 1930 in Hamilton County, Indiana to Herschel and Ethyl (Hooper) Widener. Marjorie graduated from Moonsville High School. On March 12, 1947 she married Harry V. Beeman and he preceded her in death on January 15, 1988.
Marjorie was a homemaker, and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a big fan of Michael Jordan and enjoyed watching basketball games, especially the Laker's. Marjorie liked to play cards, board games, ice skate and shop.
She is survived by eight children, Linda (Lloyd) Mofield of Bentonville, Indiana, Lewis (Evelyn) Beeman of Akron, Ohio, Russ (Jackie) Beeman of Alexandria, Indiana, Joyce (Dennis) McCormick of Jonesville, Michigan, Christine Burton of Osseo, Michigan, Charlie Beeman of Osseo, Michigan, Tammy "Bams" Burger of Hillsdale, Michigan and Roger (Penny) Beeman of Osseo, Michigan; one sister Willmagene Beeman of Anderson, Indiana; one son-in-law Randy Lawson of Pioneer, Ohio; one daughter-in-law Tammy Beeman; 37 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Harry, parents, daughter Judith Lawson, son Stewart Beeman, sister Eloise Hensley and brother Howard Widener.
Visitation for Marjorie will be Thursday, February 26th from 2-4pm and 5-8pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer. Services will be Friday February 27th at 11am at the funeral home with Pastor Don Harkey to officiate. Interment will follow at Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer.
