Mary Louise (Coon) Davies, 85, of Montpelier, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home in Montpelier. She was born on November 18, 1933 in Medina Township, Michigan to Lee Roy and Anna Lou (Abling) Coon.

Mary graduated from Pioneer High School and was a member of Bethlehem Christian Union Church.

She is survived by her three children, Cindy (Bill) Turner of Pioneer, Kevin (Chris) Cogswell of Montpelier and Lynn (Michelle) Cogswell of Edgerton; eight grandchildren, Shawn Turner, Craig Turner, Jason Turner, Brian Cogswell, Kyle Cogswell, Brady Cogswell, Curtis McKinley and Somer Renollet; thirteen great grandchildren, Ben, Jake, Addyson, Travis, Trenton and Tucker Turner, Gavin, Griffin and Gradin Cogswell, Joshua and Haley Wehrle, Caden Gamble and Koltyn Renollet.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Roy Lavern Coon, Raymond Coon and Robert Coon and special friend Rell Myers.

Visitation for Mary will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Thompson Funeral Home on Main Street in Montpelier. A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Slagle to officiate. Mary will be laid to rest at Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer. Memorial contributions may be made to Evergreen Manor Activity Fund.
