Onalee M. Hale, 77, of Minerva, Ohio and formerly of Osseo, Michigan, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024 at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital in Canton, Ohio. She was born on May 15, 1947 in Hudson, Michigan to Arnold C. and Margaret O. (Halleck) Miller. Onalee graduated from Camden Frontier High School in 1965.

For 10 years Onalee worked for Tenneco Automotive in Angola, Indiana. Prior to working at Tenneco, she worked for 3 years as a customer service representative at the Angola Walmart. After her retirement in 2008, Onalee worked for Walmart in Canton, Ohio for 5 years. At one time she attended Ransom Congregational Church.

Onalee is survived by her children, Susan Hale in Waynesburg, Ohio and Edward (Vicki) Hale, Jr. of Minerva, Ohio; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; sister, Judy Garrett of Bryan; and one brother, Hillard (Barb) Miller of Defiance, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, James E. Hale and Benjamin A. Hale; and one brother, Clayton Miller.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer, Ohio. Onalee will be laid to rest in a private interment at Evergreen Cemetery in Ransom Township, Michigan. Memorials may be made in Onalee's memory to the Epilepsy Foundation.
