Pamela Ann Carlson, 56, of Pioneer and formerly of Waldron, Michigan, passed away on Thursday November 12, 2015 at Community Hospitals and Wellness Center in Bryan. She was born on November 10, 1959 to William Elton and Norma Mae (Miller) Bailey, Sr., in Evansville, Indiana. Pam attended Waldron High School. On August 22, 1992 she married Steven E. Carlson in Angola, Indiana and he survives. Pam was an avid gardener and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds that would visit her garden to feed. She loved to take trips to the casino and also spending quality time with her grandson. She is survived by her husband, Steven E. Carlson of Pioneer; grandson, Lenix Sands of Montpelier; brother, Thomas W. (Violet) Bailey of Britton, Michigan; two sisters; Cathy (Joseph) Han of Jasper, Michigan and Carmen (Randy) Belcher of Blakeslee, Ohio; several in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Michael Edward Bailey and Jason Lee Bailey and two brothers, William Elton Bailey, Jr., and Charles Edward Bailey. Private graveside services for Pam will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer, Ohio.
