Patricia (King) Michael

The daughter of Frank and Anna (Kilroe) King, born February 22, 1932 in Hoboken, New Jersey.  On September 15, 1953 she married Keith L. Michael at Naval Air Station Barbers Point, Hawaii.

A 1950 graduate of Demerest High School in Hoboken, she enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was Honorably discharged in 1953.

Surviving are her children Janice (Curtis) Short of Pioneer, Steve (Melinda) Michael of Bryan, Dan Michael of Toledo, and Carolyn Michael of Cloverdale, Ohio; grandchildren Jessie Lyman of Chicago, Illinois, Meghan Russell of Adrian, Michigan, Lauren Russell of Chicago, Mackenzie Russell of Pioneer and Andy (Kristi) Short of Paducah, Kentucky; great grandchildren Kaiden Russell, Finn, Henrik, Bode, Liam Svanberg and Kendall and Grady Short.

Preceding her in death are her parents, husband Keith, sons David and Keith and daughter Chris Lyman and grandson Jon.

As a long-standing member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Montpelier, a memorial service will be held at a later date. A private graveside service will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
