Paul H. Saneholtz, 83, of Pioneer died early Thursday evening at the Toledo Hospital.  He was born in Liberty Center Township, Ohio on November 9, 1929 to Hugo H. and Naomi Saneholtz.  Paul graduated from Liberty Center High School in 1947.  After high school Paul proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War (1950-1952).  On June 26, 1971 Paul married Nancy L. Wilmoth in Toledo, Ohio, and she survives. In 1983 Paul purchased the Rainbow Motel in Holiday City, Ohio, he ran the Motel until selling it in 2002.  Paul retired from Montpelier Exempted Village Schools as a bus driver after 12 years of service.  Paul was a former Montpelier Rotary Club member and a member of the Pioneer American Legion and was active in the Pioneer Senior Center.  He was instrumental in the founding of Holiday City, Ohio.  He was a big fan of High School sports and an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. Paul is survived by his wife Nancy; three daughters, Denise (Buzz) Fay of Toledo, Ohio, Pam (Rick) Wolney of Columbus, Ohio, Tracy (Tom) Laycock of Indianapolis, Indiana; two step daughters, Maria Shell of Bellevue, Ohio and Becky Mugler of Toledo, Ohio; three sisters, Ardith (Bob) Masters of Perrysburg, Ohio, Lois (Merl) Bauman of Napoleon, Ohio, and Mary (Jerry) Palmer of Napoleon, Ohio; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers Wilbur, Tony and Orville Saneholtz; and one sister Lavon Tucker. Visitation hours for Paul will be on Sunday June 2, 2013 from 1-6pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier.  Services will be on Monday at 11am at the funeral home with Reverend Michael Raypholtz to officiate.  Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.  Donations may be made to the Williams County Humane Society or the Toledo Humane Society.
