Phillip Alan Lyon 65, died Tuesday at his home in Montpelier after suffering from an apparent heart attack.  He was born November 25, 1947 in Montpelier to Charles Nathaniel and Doris Irene (Reese) Lyon.  Phillip graduated from Montpelier High School in 1965. Phillip was a former Free Mason in Montpelier.  He worked for Mohawk Tool for over 25 years, and then worked 10 years for Robinair SPX Corporation, both in Montpelier. Phillip is survived by a son Nathaniel A. Lyon of Montpelier and a sister Sandra K. Lyon also of Montpelier. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Doris. Graveside services will be held Monday February 4th at 1pm at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier with Reverend Bruce Tumblin to officiate.  Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
