REX C. WELLS Rex C. Wells, 47 of Bryan, and formerly of Montpelier, died unexpectedly Saturday October 16, 2010 at Community Hospital and Wellness Center, Bryan. Rex was born February 17, 1963 at Hillsdale, Michigan to Yvonne Quimby and Marlin J. Wells, Sr. He was a graduate of Montpelier High School and was employed as a fork-lift operator with Power Lasers, Inc, of Pioneer for several years. An avid fisherman, he was married to Connie Dixon on December 3, 2006, and she survives. Also surviving is his mother, Yvonne Swan, Montpelier, one son Josh Wells, Edgerton, one daughter Brandy of Edgerton, two grandsons, two stepsons, Chad Carothers, Hanover, Michigan and Sean Gentry, Edgerton, a stepdaughter, Jennifer Carothers, Bryan, and a step grandson, Chad Carothers, two sisters, Brenda Wells (Steve Ferree) and Theresa Maybee (Mike McKenzie), both of Montpelier, and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his father, Marlin Wells, Sr., and brothers, Marlin Wells, Jr. and Clifford Wells. Public Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday October 22, 2010, at Riverside Cemetery, Montpelier with Reverend Dan Konoff officiating. There will not be a visitation. Preferred memorials are to Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio, 200 VanGundy Drive, Bryan, Ohio 43506.
