Richard L. Norrick, 81 of Montpelier died April 1st 2012 at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home in Montpelier.  He was born on July 5th 1930 in Farmer Township in Defiance County, Ohio to W. Edward and May (Core) Norrick.  On July 20th 1951 he married Ruth N. Lovejoy and she preceded him in death on March 11th 2012. Richard was in the US Army during the Korean War.  Richard retired from the Williams County Highway Department after 30 years of employment as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Montpelier Church of the Nazarene. Richard is survived by three daughters Debra Reinhart of Montpelier, Maryanne Norrick of Bryan, Karen Norrick of Jacksonville, Florida, six grandchildren Peter Kurtz, Lucas Reinhart, Travis Reinhart, Adam Norrick, Gene Sellers, Rose Flower, 11 great grandchildren, one brother Kenneth (Rachael) Norrick of Bryan, and one sister Veneta (Max) Taylor of Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three sisters Eleanor Blosser, Betty Chrisman, an infant, and one brother Kermit Norrick.
