Obituary

Robert L. Locke, 75, formerly of Williams County, Ohio died early Wednesday evening in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  He was born on May 7, 1938 in Willard, Ohio to Louie and Esther (Parker) Locke.  Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He married Jean A. Lindholm, and she survives. Robert worked as a press operator for Winzelers Stamping Company for 22 years, retiring in 2002. He is survived by his wife, four daughters, Rhonda (Bill) Gordon of Old Town, Florida, Mary (Jack) Farrar of Apopka, Florida, Kathy (Nathan) Borgans of Apopka, Florida, Sandy Gordon of Florida; four step daughters, Kathy (Terry) Planson of Stryker, Ohio, Cindy (Brian) Royer of Battle Creek, Michigan, Chris (Eli) Hartman of Celina, Ohio, Sue (Larry) Howe of West Unity, Ohio; two step sons, Jim (Mindy) Moreland of Toledo, Ohio, Eric (Mary) Moreland of Pioneer, Ohio; one brother Paul Locke of Lake City, Georgia; one sister Mary Stantz of Bryan, Ohio; twenty eight grandchildren and twenty eight great grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death his parents, three sons, Robert, Alvin and John Locke, and one grandson Greg Cottrell. Visitation hours for Robert will be on Monday July 8th from 3-8pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer.  Graveside services with Military Rites by the Pioneer Veterans will be Tuesday at 11am at Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer, with Pastor Paul Collins to officiate.  Donations may be given to the Donor's Choice.  Online condolences can be left for the family at www.thethompsonfuneralhome.com
