Roger Leroy Rahmer, 79, passed away peacefully Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Northern Lakes in Angola.

He was born on April 7, 1940 to the late Glenn and Mildred (Lipp) Rahmer.  Roger grew up farming and gardening in Pioneer.  He graduated in 1959 from North Central High School.  He worked at several factories in Pioneer and at Wal-Mart in Jonesville, Michigan.  He attended Pleasant View Church of Christ in Angola.  Roger loved hunting, fishing and animals.  Most of all, he loved John Deere tractors.

He is survived by his son Aaron Rahmer; sister Wanda (Chuck) Phillips of Angola and sister Marsha Browns of Defiance.  Roger was preceded in death by his parents, wife Edna (Black) Rahmer, and brother Arthur Rahmer.

Roger will be laid to rest at Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer.
