Susan May Simmet, 61, of Montpelier, passed away on March 18, 2020 at her home. She was born on May 14, 1958 in Montpelier to Lyndon and Margaret (Newton) Hari. Susan attended Pioneer High School. On September 18, 1977 she married Ezra L. Simmet, Jr., and he survives.

Susan worked for XMC in Sylvania. She enjoyed knitting, quilting and jigsaw puzzles.

In addition to her husband, Ezra, Susan is survived by four siblings, Linda (Darrell) Rummel of Montpelier, Pauline (Stuart) Mahan of Wauseon, Dale Hari of Montpelier and Paul Hari of Manhattan, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents.

No services will be held for Susan. Memorial contributions may be given in her memory to CHP Hospice.
