Timothy A. Smart, 60, of Montpelier and formerly of Chicago, passed away Saturday evening at Evergreen Manor Nursing Home in Montpelier.  He was born on February 11, 1957 in Montpelier to Theodore A. and Patricia I. (Yagelski) Smart.  Tim graduated from North Central High School in 1975, and in 1979 he graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio with a Bachelor's of Science Degree.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  In 2006 Tim retired from Kraft Foods in Chicago. He is survived by two sisters, Vicki (Russ) Lanius of Pioneer and Allison (Toby) Hutchison of Montpelier; and several nieces and nephews.  Tim was preceded in death by his parents. A time to receive friends will be on Wednesday, April 12th from 11-12pm at the Thompson Funeral Home on Main Street in Montpelier.  A service will follow at 12pm at the funeral home with Father Jim Halleron to officiate.  Interment will be at Floral Grove Cemetery in Pioneer.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Williams County Library - Pioneer Branch.
