TIMOTHY A. CREEK
1954 – 2011
Timothy A. Creek, 57, of rural Montpelier, Ohio died Monday afternoon, May 30, 2011
in University of Michigan Medical Center, Ann Arbor, Michigan where he had been a patient one week following a brief serious illness.
Tim was born January 25, 1954 at Bryan to Carl "Bud" and M. Lurie (Shoup) Creek, Jr., and was a lifelong Montpelier area resident.
He was a member of West Bethesda Presbyterian Church and has served as Church Financial Secretary for many years.
A 1972 graduate of Montpelier High School, he was a well known Superior Township Farmer, was a member of Williams County Farm Bureau, an avid Maple Syrup Producer and a member of Northwest Ohio Maple Syrup Producers. For a number of years he was employed with Rich Implement Dealership which became Archbold Equipment.
He is survived by his father Carl "Bud" Creek, Jr, one brother Tom (Patricia) Creek, two sisters, Susan (David) Fritsch, and Sharon (Don) Moore, all of Montpelier. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Tim was preceded in death by his mother M. Lurie Creek in 2001.
Visitation for Timothy A. Creek will be Thursday, June 2, 2011,from 2- 8 p.m. in Wilson – Geesey Funeral Home, 335 Empire Street, Montpelier, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in West Bethesda Presbyterian Church near Montpelier, with Reverend Tawee Layraman officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Montpelier. Preferred memorials are to the Church.
