Tommy Lee Brown, Sr. 59 of Montpelier died Wednesday evening at the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center in Defiance, Ohio.  He was born on September 24th 1952 in Adrian, Michigan to Edward A. and Doris (Wheat) Brown, Jr.  Tom graduated from Anthony Wayne High School and the Penta County Vocational High School in 1972. After school Tom went to serve his country in the U.S. Navy as a Bosonsmate. Tom married Denise L. Walker on May 3rd 2002 in Bryan, Ohio and she survives. Tom was a welder and general laborer for numerous contractors in Northwest Ohio. Tom was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Montpelier, the Montpelier Moose Lodge #312, American Legion and V.F.W both of Montpelier, Williams County Conservation Club and the Local #500 Laborers Union of Toledo. Tom is survived by his wife Denise of Montpelier, three sons John and wife Velvet Henricks of Montpelier, Scott and wife Davena Brown of Delta, Tommy L. Brown, Jr. of Swanton, a daughter Jamie Brown of Wauseon, two brothers Dennis and wife Jeannine Walker of Hamilton, Indiana, Jeff and wife Carrie Brown of Delta, three sisters Sandy and husband Joe Navarre of Sylvania, Lynne and husband Dave Wymer of Delta, Pam and husband Keith Roop of Swanton, nine grandchildren, father and mother in-law Earl and Illega Walker of Montpelier and an aunt Katy Shelden of Blissfield, Michigan. Visitation hours for Tom will be on Sunday, September 9th from 1-5 pm at the Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier.  Services will be on Monday at 11 am at St. John's Lutheran Church in Montpelier with Pastor Paul Gruetter to officiate.  Memorials may be made to the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.   Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.
